FR Legends Gameplay Guides
Improving at FR Legends is about more than building a powerful car. Understanding controls, drift behavior, scoring, and track layouts can make practice much more productive.
Learning the Controls
Start by becoming comfortable with steering and throttle inputs. Smooth movements are generally easier to control than constantly making large corrections. Spend time practicing basic drifts before worrying about high scores.
The FR Legends controls and scoring guide provides additional information about how the game's driving and scoring systems work.
Practicing Drifting
A useful practice routine is to repeat the same corner several times. Focus on entering at a consistent speed, initiating the slide, maintaining the desired angle, and smoothly transitioning out of the corner.
Once a particular corner becomes consistent, move to a different section of the track. This gradually builds control without making every practice session completely unpredictable.
Scoring
Drift scoring rewards controlled driving rather than simply holding the car sideways. Angle, line, speed, and other elements can influence the result, so chasing maximum angle is not always the best strategy.
Learning Tracks
Knowing where corners tighten, where transitions happen, and where you have room to recover can make a significant difference. Learning one track thoroughly is often more useful than repeatedly switching between unfamiliar locations.
Building a Practice Routine
- Choose one car and keep its setup consistent.
- Practice one section of a track.
- Focus on smooth steering and throttle inputs.
- Repeat the same section until your line becomes predictable.
- Only then start experimenting with the car setup.
